June 22, 2010- Trial on Sammantha's murder case- Opening Statements.
On two young men accused of murdering Sammantha on January 26, 2008.
It was very hard to view the coroner's report however I had to keep reminding myself that it's the only way Sammantha could show us what was done to her. She was shot with an Uzi, eight times, for the Grace of God she did not suffer for two shots were instantly fatal.
Sammantha would have graduated from High School this year instead we sit in on the court hearings of these two young men.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Parents of Murdered Children, Marsy's Law, our Advocate Kristina and the many members of Marsys' Law for attending the court hearings and giving us the support and guidance through the maze of the Criminal Justice System.
Rest in Peace Sammantha, we'll take it from here.
